That 'spiny light' is extra special. I believe someone suggested cropping
closer but without the unlit spines I think much of the impact of those 'on
fire' would be diminished.
The boot shot makes me want to start posting walk journals again. Then it
would mean picking up the digital again for the necessary immediacy and it
'steals' all my film shots.
Nice boots :-)

We got out of the Seattle rain for a week, and went to Arizona. We
visited Steve and Dominique Barbour on our last evening, and had such a
wonderful time that I completely neglected to take pictures of them. :-)
Anyway, here are the first couple of shots worth showing, taken around
Tucson.
Spiny light:

Moonrise (apologies to Ansel)

And. . . another pair just for fun.
Especially for GeeBee:

M6TTL with 35 & 50 Summicrons, the last one was taken by my wife, probably
with a 21/4 VC. Kodak 400UC print film exposed at EI 250. Low-res
Noritsu scans with levels, curves, cropping and sharpening in Picture
Window Pro.
Enjoy,
