I suspect that it is for erosion. Over the couple of miles that the
runoff ditch runs through this property, the cars are always on the
'outside' bank of where the ditch makes a turn. In my first car
picture, look in the distance and the ditch turns left and cars are
lined up on the right bank. Anyway, it makes for an interesting sight.
