Red phalarope action

After all the reports on the birdwatching lists and the local media, I took advantage of clear weather for some phalarope pictures this morning.

At first, I just took portraits. Then I discovered bills dripping water after the birds dabbled for food. Finally, I got into full head immersion. In the end, habits acquired over years of dual slalom race photography took over for some couples work.
