Great cormorant in the rain!
Thanks, Mark! But, that ain't no cormorant. It's from the 'Darter'
family (anhinga) and is locally known as the "snake bird".
I like your Moose, in the rain. (http://tinyurl.com/48t4q). This whole
discussion has been about the difficulty - no, almost impossibility, of
capturing rain itself in a photo. We, as photographers go out of our
way to create images which suggest rain.. .such as your leaf shot.

The moose shot misses the rain itself, but the shaking of his head
yields the water droplets that very effectively show he's wet from the rain.
I like it!
