Hi Harrison,
Thanks for the tip, and congratulations (or condolences :-)) as the case
may be.

Hi Bill,
In what way is C1 better than the Adobe RAW converter? I have dabbled
once with a trial version I got at Photokina in 2004, but decided
that it was too much hazzle to have a separate RAW converter when I
already have a perfectly good one built into Photoshop. I am not
worried about the $99 but about the extra step in the workflow. Is
there an improvement in image quality with C1 that justifies it?
Nathan,
I have not used Capture One and have been pretty much exclusively
using ACR the past year or so. This week I downloaded the trial
version of Bibble on the recommendation of a friend...man what a
difference. The files seem to have better color out of the box. Nice
converter. I just have tried the Light version so far, just
downloaded the pro version and will give it a spin tonight or
tomorrow...if time permits. I am moving this weekend...just got
remarried and we are moving into our new house. :)
Anyway as soon as time permits I am going to give Bibble Pro a test
drive and see if it will integrate into my workflow. For capture One
to work for me I'd have to have the pro version and am reluctant to
buy that....
