Mike:
I like your main but wish the redhead's face were sharper. She must have
moved on you. There also is a little too much sloping wood birdfeeder roof
at the right - composing a little lower and to the left would have made the
vendor's sign more central and legible and minimized the booth's awning
roof. Great expression on the vendor's face!
The white background walls and subject's white clothing in the alternate
leave my eye to wander without an immediate subject.
**Every time I go to 'improve' a marginal shot in Photoslop CS I hear
Vincent Versace in my mind's ear telling us photo seminar attendees, "Don't
polish a turd!" Then I move on to an image that's good to begin with.

This week a Main and an alternate PAW!! Not my usual 3-5 images.
Taken with a Leica M2, 35 mm Summilux (1960s vintage) on Kodak Vivid Color
ISO 160 print film, scanned on an Epson 2450 at 2400 dpi adjusted
minimally in Photoshop CS -- I DO love the new shadow/highlight
adjustment! I am not so sure about this film tho-- it seems too garish and
altho this WAS a high-contrast bright-light situation at at 2 p.m I think
the film tended to overcompensate, somehow. If anyone is interested in
this film and wants to see more images contact me off list and I'll send
you some jpgs.
