Great travel pictures, David! Where is the sculpture? Thanks for showing,

Good Mornin' Oliver!

Thank you, for your kind words.

As to the location of the sculpture... well, Paris! Actually, it's somewhere very near the Louvre.

However, Xavier- our host and guide, as well as my co-owner on the LRflex (Leica Reflex) list - delighted in taking us via the most circuitous route possible. We'd walk 30 blocks to travel 6, always going along the back streets where the old Paris still exists and which few tourists ever see. Because he did the guiding, we just went for the ride. I now have much research to do, to try and pin down the what's and where's of our time there!

It was, however, the ONLY way to see Paris! Photo opportunities abound, and the bistros are a delight!

Though we'd gone for Photokina and the LHSA convention in Wetzlar it was Paris which proved to be the delight of our trip. I'd not been there for 42 years, but we will return much sooner than that!

Cheers!
