The fellow wasn't panhandling the other two guys.  They were having a
conversation.  One of the nice things about Berkeley is that it's not
unusual to see people from widely different cultures and socio-economic
situations, engaging one another in a number of ways.  This was just a
typical scene repeated time and time again on the streets of Berkeley,
unremarkable even as a photograph except, perhaps, for the smoke, which is
what caught my eye.

Thanks for taking time to look and for your comment.  It feels good to be
able to read the list again .... ;-))
