Blessedly silent...hardly! You're practically the only poster to the 
LEG lately. I'm concluding that Leica folk actually like the OT 
threads and angst so often a part of the other list.

But, it's like my old man told me as I was growing up, "Son, it's a 
good thing that we don't all like the same woman".

Regardless, all the best with your upcoming procedure. Let us hear 
from you as soon as it's again convenient. I can hear you now 
when mostly recovered...'Pain free at last, pain free at last - thank 
God Almighty, I'm pain free at last!' (With apologies to MLK)
