Oliver, Steve ... There is no Pentax 80mm/1.7 .... I'm sure you mean the
77mm/1.8  Great lens!

The Pentax istDS may be hard to find as it's been out of production for a
while, but if you can find a good used one, grab it.  I got my second one
from KEH camera brokers.  It's a sweet, inexpensive, and very capable
camera.  

Coming soon is the new K100D - should be arriving any day now - with built
in shake reduction.  It'll use the great 77mm lens as well.
