Hi Graham,

Ok so here's another idea for your photo coverage of all these wonderful old
churches. That is of course you've already given it a go and received no
response. :-( Positive or otherwise.

But over the years not only have you been shooting the beautiful
countryside, you've amassed what must be an incredible archival collection
of the churches throughout the Shires. This has to be worth a tidy some of
pounds if presented to the right historical archival people, a church
archives? Govt. Department, whatever, purely as an historical collection of
the country.

I can't believe there isn't some agency, government dept, local or National
that wouldn't fund or pay a tidy sum for the collection, even to date. Then
create a financial compensation package to carry on as a National project
through out Great Britain

I mean it's Britain after all, King Arthur, Cromwell, Sir Galahad and all
that sort of thing. Even Robin Hood. although a mythical being, it's still
the image of what the better part of the world understand of the UK. Right
or wrong. It's still an amazing country steeped in history beyond so many
other countries about the world. Maybe someone should send a note to the new
PM, Prime Minister Brown about your work. ;-)

Anyway lad if it goes no where you're creating a great collection of your
part of the world for the National Archives of the UK in the future. Just
don't let anyone pass it off it isn't of great importance of how people and
the countryside of the UK have survived.
