Thanks, Ruben! Indeed, this is an ugly area, but the sun and sky can be
beautiful in the morning. My parents lived in their apartment in Brøndby
Strand for 5 years, and during my visits I always looked at and
photographed this particular view from their 12th floor balcony. This
time the light was changing rapidly as were the cloud formations, so I
was lucky to notice this magic moment when the smoke from the garbage
burning plant was illuminated by the rays of the sun peeking through the
clouds. Less than 5 minutes later it was gone.
