Interesting comment, Mike.  I find I have the same problem.

When I got my digital camera I took it and the Leica with me for a few
weeks.  I found that it didn't work, much for the same reason you did.  I
now only carry one - I choose which to take based on what it is I am going
to shoot with it.

I must confess that I usually carry the digital because it is faster to get
out of the case, has auto everything which makes it faster to shoot with,
has a nice zoom lens out to 140 mm, and I can get my pictures out to the
family the same day and at no cost to me for film or processing.

When I get serious, I use the Leica because I still believe the results are
far superior to my digital images.
