It may sound impressive that I went for a walk at sunrise, but keep
in mind that I am in northern Europe right now, so sunrise is around
8:30 a.m. Nonetheless, the only other people out and about were dog
owners whose pooches needed to pee and people heading to church.
The weather was crisp, just below freezing, but it was dry and the
light was beautiful. I walked across one of the bridges across the
Odra river and took this picture of Ostrów Tumski, an island in the
river where the city's cathedral and assorted other church buildings
are located:

It was a nice walk.
