After the discussion about the M8 colour issues when filters are not
used in mixed lighting, it is time to show one that demonstrates why I
bought the M8. This is just a simple portrait of my co-worker Wilma,
taken during our Christmas lunch in a restaurant this afternoon. The
image is not sharpened, and the only things I did to it in Lightroom
was to click on AUTO to adjust the levels, and to crop it.

When I zoom in on Wilma's eye in Lightroom, I can see why I bought the
M8 (and also that the 35mm Summarit is a great lens). This image is
sharper right out of the camera than I would have gotten from my E3 or
previously my Canon 1DII, after sharpening in those cases.
