Thanks Jim,
Actually as I was shooting at the new symphony hall I was amazed I was
in Nashville, that building is very nice. The 12 lens is really a nice
little lens, if you get it level it is not that bad on distortion, I was
very surprised. Look at those photos in the symphony building with
those columns and they are relatively straight, considering it is a 12.
I debated and debated on getting this or the 15, and now I am quite glad
I got the 12. I also debated about the M5...and I must say I am very
happy with it, I think it may be my favorite M...gotta wait until the
new wears off to be sure though. LOL
The M5 meter really is pretty good, but I have never been one to like in
camera metering when shooting chrome. I tend to use a hand held
incident meter. To me this has always worked better than in camera
meters did for slides. I have to admit that it has been so long since I
shot much chrome that I am having to remember how to do it. LOL I need
to calibrate my meter for these new films, I have not done so since I
shot Velvia (the real 50asa velvia) and E100SW, neither of which are
made anymore.
Oh and as for the buildings leaning...well you know we have a lot of
hills here in middle Tennessee. ;)

Just kidding of course - It's amazing how a 12mm lens can topple
buildings!
Great photographs Harrison!!! Awesome!!!
I have a question, even though moot since it's outdoor in the summer
sun, but, did you consult the M5 meter? and if so, how close was it to
reality?
And, as I tell all of my digits, "there ain't nuthin' like looking at
chromes on a light table!"
:-)

On the Thursday I walked around a small part of downtown Nashville
with my new to me M5, some Kodak Ektachrome E100GX and Fujichrome
Velvia 100. I made a lot of photos with the 12mm voigtlander lens of
the Ryman, and the new Schermerhorn Symphony Center. So you can see
Nashville's homes for different kinds of music.

Comments welcome.
It was nice to look at chromes on a light table again, they really do
look nice.
