Re: More RD-1 Samples

First off if they were using thr 28 mm lens they "really" were using something closer to a 50 in angle of view -- but it is still a 28 despite the magnification factor, so right away your DOF OUGHT to be a little deeper. And if you stop down to f/11 or so -- even in that overcast light that is possible -- your focus does not have to be that critical.

As this is a camera we may not even see on these shores, I don't need the babel fish, agree with Ted on that. .

BTW Google has a fairly decent translator -- at least for romance languages. You might check and see if that will do the Japanese better than Babelfish-- which IMO tends to babble a bit.
