Steve, I may have told you wrong. It was something I read. The
internal battery takes 3 months to discharge with or without power
switch on. Apologies. The flashing indicator light means data is
being written to the card. I would turn it off, remove the battery
and the card and get a good nights sleep. Charge the battery and go
for it again tomorrow.
