Use a 1.33X multiplier on full-frame focal length to get what the
M8 sees. So your 90mm would see a 120mm field of view as you point
out, and a 35mm would see a 46.6mm field of view.
So I pop on my 35 and i GET a 35 mm frame, but my lens SEES a 46 mm
field of view.... Hmmmm This makes the epson/cosina system of
selecting the field of view manually a lot more appealing.
What the leica M8 seems to be dfoing is making that nes Tri Elmafr
the lesn of choice to use...
or else suggesting to me that I get a really good 35 mm negative
scanner and continue in my antediluvian film=based ways.
