Re: M8 comments :-)

Thanks Mark--

if i read the stuff correctly in what I saw posted so far, the 1:3 "focal length" adjustment means my 21 would be a "28" my 28 mm Voigtlander (with adapter) would be a "35" (or thereabouts) my 35 would pretty much see what a "normal" 50 sees and a 50 would be more like a 70 mm and the 90 would be a 120 mm lens. I am not sure of putting those lenses on would activate the correct VF or if the 24/35 ; 50/75 and 21/28 lines would actually correlate to "digital" lenses.

If the VF windows don't key properly I suppose i could use my old universal finder and get "close enough" framing, guesstimating and allowing for some waste at the edges....

I su[pose all will be made clear about the time i can find the cash to get one anyway....

there is also the Digilux 3 option which is, of course a true SLR (no crappy electronic VF on this one!) and which will let me "see exactly what each lens "sees" regardless whether it is an old fashioned lens or the new, smaller digital types with their shorter focal lengths.

As i have a Digi 2 clone now, I am familiar with the "real camera" adjusting controls and 7 Mp is probably enough for what i do anyway ,
Mike
