I wouldn't call Sherry Krauter a decent repairer. I would call her the
best.
She's the only person I'll have work on my Leicas. She's worth every cent
she charges, is fast and does excellent work.

I had this happen with an M4P, and nit being handy sent it to a
decent repairer who popped in some new parts cleaned and adjusted
it... Turned it around fast for me too.
She said something ( forget what widget) broke and jammed the
mechanism and when that happens, the shutter won't depress either as
it is cocked on the wind stroke.
