I would go on to add that I prefer the M6 classic over the TTL because
the shutter speed dial turns in the same direction as that of my M2. But
the camera I really like is my MP because it has the feel and solidity
of the M3 but with a built-in meter and a finder less flare-prone than
the M6. Also, the shutter and geartrain of the MP are so silky and quiet
which just goes to prove that Leica could do that if they wanted to all
along. What I also like about the MP is that it has the .85 viewfinder
which approximates that of an M3 with its near life-like magnification;
desireable for two-eyed viewing and also for use with longer focal
lengths like the 75mm and 50mm lenses in terms of focusing accuracy and
larger framelines. And did I say quiet?

It definitly has a different "Feel" to it. Is not just the heighth,
but even the shutter seems to advance differently...is hard to put a
finger on but between my old M6 and my new one I like the older one
best.
And I agree on the M6, the built in meter makes it the one to have
over the earlier versions, IMHO.
