Seems to me since you won't be using your parent's extra bedroom during the 
timeframe of this meeting, perhaps Ted could save a few $$ and stay with them, 
yes?

Hopefully Carl this explains the factors. And yes it's certainly too bad 
when you could've stayed at your folks home. But we're even limited to space 
for presentations. I can only say I'm glad I'm never involved in putting 
these events together.
