Getting the exposure really is very easy once you understand it. Each
f-stop or shutter speed change is a full stop, each stop is exactly
twice as much or 1/2 the amount of light. If doing multiples you have
to remember to underexpose correctly for he number of multiples so:
2x is one stop under
4x is 2 stops under
8x is 3 stops under
16x is 4 stops under
32x is 5 stops under
64x is 6 stops under and so on.
