Though my falls aren't as lovely as yours, Harrison, I've tried this technique
also with success:
http://raflexions.com/CACoast/45_2006_09_jfbsp_1_bw_np1_smallfall_adj_gray_12x12.htm
and
http://raflexions.com/CACoast/50_2006_09_jpb_1_bw_stream_adj_qtr.htm
These were only using 8 frames as they were hasselblad and shutter speeds
were limited to leaf shutter max -1 stop (as my 1/500 is presumed inaccurate);
1/250.
Never took photography in college, but learned the technique from Barry
Thornton's book, "Edge of Darkness". Great book that can be read over and
over...
Anyway, thanks for reminding me of this technique. I'll be shooting tomorrow
and might try it out on some coastal surf!

Yesterday I went to Mont Eagle and did a little nature
shooting. I tried some multiple exposures like we did in college. I
used my F3hp and MD4 to make 32 exposures on one frame of film. I did
this on the waterfalls both hand held and on the tripod. The tripod
shots were very neat as they looked like a combination of slow and high
shutter speeds. The hand-held shots gave an interesting effect...I am
looking forward to trying this on some flowers. This is an effect I do
not think one can get using digital.

Comments welcome.
Oh and there are "normal" photos on that page also, some made with my M6.
