I'm behind in my forums (am spending the winter holiday cleaning up my
office and indexing everything in boxes).
This image shows what I like about Zeiss optics. The images don't appear
soft, and they lack harshness that one might get from a razor sharp optic
like an Elmar. There are so many good 50/2 lenses out there (Summicron,
Planar, Hexanon, Heliar, to name 4), and each seems to have its own nice
identity.
