IMG: Shama and Bulbul

Today's photos were made at the Ho'omaluhia Botanical Garden in Kaneohe, a
densely forested environment at slightly higher elevation than the coastal
scrub.

Red-whiskered Bulbul:

The White-rumped Shama, a member of the thrush family has in common with many
other thrushes a distinctly melodious voice. In the Shama's case the voice is
unusually powerful and exceptionally beautiful.
