Thanks Gary. The wind was blowing on that image and I felt like nature was
playing with me as I tried to release the shutter. Each time I started to press
the release, up blew the wind. Was laughing a lot when trying to take that one
:-)
And I didn't run into John...

Spectacular expanse... Wonderful skies... I especially loved "Flower Stand"...
The collection caused me to think of settings for Steinbeck novels....

Went searching for wildflowers again yesterday between San Miguel and King
City. The roads were just east of Hwy 101 through Monterey and San Benito
counties. Major cattle and horse country even with a few bison (which I didn't
get any photos of).
The weather was squally, but sometimes patches of light broke through. Not many
flowers but gobs of flower buds waiting to burst forth. Will be back there in a
couple of weeks hoping to catch the peak.
Last 2 images are HDR made with Photomatix. Comments are always greatly
appreciated.
