I like the repeating, receding carts in your main. A crop showing just the carts (no bike or rear wall) would be effective too.

I took 10 years of piano as a kid. My teacher performed jazz on radio in the 40's. She always played several things for me, and let me choose which classical piece I wanted to learn. She also got me music for contemporary pieces I heard on the radio. And she encouraged me to improvise and write.

That's how I ended up writing and playing in rock bands for 12 years after those lessons. My classical training made me a fan of complex chord changes and different time signatures, to the consternation of the guitar player I worked with for many of those years. Playing Bach does that to you...

So there are ways to encourage kids to play - and they may even come to enjoy it!
