.... from a sunny, hot (33+) western Canada. (Sorry, but after your plea for compassion, I couldn't resist gloating ... our summer has been unusually cold and wet, too ... though the last 8 days have been marvellous! With luck, you too will see such days before August is out!)

As for your photos, I love the main choice ... the light is great, the sculpture, fascinating. It looks to be a marvellous park. You say it's large, by Dutch standards... do you know how many hectares?
