I love your work Nathan... And you are a lucky man, living where you
do, lots of photo opportunities abound. From my house, I look south
onto National Semiconductor, north to Advanced Micro Devices, East to
Intel, and West to eBay! I live dead center Silly Cone Valley. Ugh!
BUT!!! Every other Friday, Bob Adler and I head for coastal
California. I took a few digisnaps (happysnaps) of our last trip
(March 14 08). These trips are 'FILM' trips but I sometimes record
snippets of it with my 5D. We left my house (Sunnyvale CA) at 6:30am
and stopped just outside King City, for a pit stop, at 8am. Then
headed into the CA costal range to Fort Hunter Liggett, which is a
very active 165,000 acre Army training center. Tanks and stuff. http://ludb.clui.org/ex/i/CA3122/
This trip we took two other photographers with us, Eddie Clark and
Ruth Berggren. First stop was San Antonio Mission, which is on the
Hunter Liggett grounds. http://missions.bgmm.com/sananton.htm Then
on to the vast oak tree filled fields of Hunter Liggett, followed by
lunch and a few hours photographing Nacimiento creek - a gorgeous
creek. Continuing west on Nacimiento road, it ends on Highway 1 along
the CA coast. We got there at sunset. From there, it's a 2-1/2 hour
drive back to Sunnyvale. Then Ruth had another 1-1/2 hour drive, to
home, in Napa CA. Long day. But fun, and Bob and I are repeating part
of this trip next Friday, Mar 28 (oak fields and Nacimiento creek),
then back into the Salinas valley looking for wildflowers.
Here's a Lightroom web slide show of our last trip. The slides are
captioned above the little controls at the screen bottom.

As the title indicates, just some snippets from my daily life here
in Alicante. I hope you find something to enjoy. This was the week I
started appreciating the Live View feature of my E3.
