Re: IMG: Friday Flowers

Thanks Mark. It was great, but after about 4 hours of walking up and down the
trail, setting up and breaking down with a 25lb pack plus large tripod, I was a
wet noodle.
The 90, like the 24 and 45, give you a good amount of control. With this shot:

I was able to rotate the lens clockwise (when viewing from the rear) to have
the tilt parallel the slope. It worked great. I try not to use more than f8
because I find the image starts to break apart above that (for all lenses if I
want to print really large).
For this image with the 90TS,

I tried to defocus so that only the bloom was in focus and everything else
around it was OOF. Not sure if I completely succeeded accomplishing that, but I
like the image.
Thanks again for looking and commenting,
Best,
Bob

These are beautiful - the artist of the universe took his brush and flicked
color all over the hillsides.

In a very wet 2005, wildflowers lingered along Yosemite's Hetch Hetchy Valley
(and reservoir) into June.

How easy is it to control depth of field with tilts of your 90mm f/2.8 TS-E?
