Mike,
Hornby is very much still in existence, strangely enough Märklin are in
big financial trouble, a much too elaborate and cost-ineffective
manufacturing and finishing process (sounds like Leica) .
I'm not sure that they build a model of Sir Nigel (112mph on a measured
mile), but I think they've done Mallard (126 mph) and acouple of others
- there are actually two of these in North America - Dwight D.
Eisenhower in the USA and Domion of Canada, of course in Canada.
