Long time no read :-)
Thanks very much for the link Roger - I've been lookming through various forums (fora?) and it seems that a lot of people are haveing the same problem, and are not finding solutions either - it has been suggested/hoped that the next LR2 update will clear up the matter. So, it seems that Adobe is working on it.

This board is full of knowledgable PP people and they have a dedicated forum 
for LR. Your answer might be available just by reading the forum. If not, and

Has any one else had this problem in LR 2?
When using the brush function for dodging and burning an "Egg-timer" sometimes appears on the screen and LR is locked.
Is there an easier way out of it than killing LR in the Windows task manager?
