All:

I have come to the conclusion that I am thoroughly entrenched in digital, and realize that even though the R9 is the most delightful camera I've ever used, without a DMR to hang on the back of it, I will likely never use it again.

The same can be said for a very nice SL, that I have.

And, no, I am not abandoning the Leica fold... I will continue to use my glass on the LeiCanon, until the R10 comes out. Meanwhile, I will put the proceeds from these items into a savings account, to hold in readiness for that day.

R9 - Black. Was brand new in January,2007. Includes, presentation box, outer (silver) box, instruction book, original Leica (never used) strap, six (Count 'em.... 6) CR-2 batteries (it uses 2). All functions work perfectly. Has had only 12 rolls of film through it!

In very fine (but not perfect) shape. Can be seen at: http:// www3.telus.net/~telyt/R9_FS.htm

US$1650 including shipping & insurance, within North America. Elsewhere, shipping at cost.

Leicaflex SL (Chrome - s/n 13722**) body, in EX+ condition. No dings, no serious marks. All functions work well. Finder is bright and clear, with no visible "yellowing" of the prism.

This body had a complete CLA in 2002 by Reinhold Mueller (Toronto) and was converted for use with Alkaline or Silver batteries at that time. Works, as new!

Photos available at: http://www3.telus.net/~telyt/SL.htm

US$309 + shipping & insurance at cost.

If you wish to learn more about the SL or the R9, the instruction manuals can be found, on line at: http://www3.telus.net/~telyt/ and then click on "Leica Instruction
