I think there's more BW film than ever! I opened the Freestyle Photographic catalogue yesterday. Jeezz there are allot of 35mm films! And allot of chemicals!
Chris,

Sometimes when I get bored I look at the forums on dpreview.com. Yesterday I saw this one:

http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1032&message=19620059

About how someone who had never shot film went out and tried some...it is really pretty funny/sad to read some of the comments....some of those yahoos never shot a roll of film and are saying "it is almost as good as digital." Guess I am rapidly approaching old fart age since I can remember how to shoot film and enjoy it through my Leicas....

It is funny to me to read some comments that are along the lines of "If I were shooting commercially I'd never shoot film because you are not sure of what you got" DAMN this points out how unlearned so many of these "photographers" are....hell I shot millions of frames of chrome on things from breaking news and football to commercial and industrial jobs with dozens of lights and all sorts of gels and grids and spots and never sweated "did I get it" exposure wise. Of course as I tell people it is my experience with film that allows me to create great photography digitally because I UNDERSTAND light.....someone who thinks all you need is a custom white balance will never be able to do what I do.

Anyway take a look just for laughs.
