A sad footnote - our local Russian supermarket has disappeared without trace, taking the 25 different kinds of Vodka,the most wonderfully mild smoked salmon and Latvian beer, with them. So it's back to Bratwurst, Pils, and Korn (schnapps).
Roll on the end of the month, back to the UK, fresh dressed crab, Whitby kippers and Steak 'n Ale Pies, all washed down with "Director's Special" and a Lamb's Navy Rum as a chaser - paradise!
