Getting similar results with EOS 10D at 13X19 from an Epson 2200 on Epson
S042069 Super A3 paper and standard Epson inks. This one hangs on my wall
and on consignment at the local Wild Birds Unlimited:
http://www.mountain-and-desert.com/Wildlife/Birds/Long-Legged/DBW-SE0122.htm .
**I can count the egret's individual tail feathers against pink sunset
light in the full-res image.
I prefer Epson S041260 A3 matte paper for its heavier weight and higher
white/brightness and opacity ratings, but it's smaller at 11.7"X16.5".
Can't find it locally at the Super A3 size.
Unless a digital M-mount RF camera comes in below $1500 (the EOS 10D
autofocus dSLR price) it's not worth buying and I'll keep Leicas for film only.

Michael,
for what it's worth re the Digilux 2... If they don't get the surprisngly
incredible results I'm getting then I'd question their ability to do
testing.
So far the digi 2 is popping out 13X19 prints off an Epson 2200, both colour
and B&W, that photgraphers not working with 8X10 view cameras would kill
for the quality.
Noise ? grain? whatever they call it in digi language is non-existant!
Detail so incredible you can count the pores in the skin of subjects. As a
long time film user I'm having a great time like a rookie snapping away and
amazing myself at how good the digi 2 makes me look. ;-)
be interesting to see how they rate it in their review.
