RE: Digital RF xcameras

No way I pay that much for a digital RF only to use an ultrawide on it
to get a "normal" lens view. For that amount of money, I'd start looking
for SLR with a full sized sensor, and use "normal" normal lenses.

Brit magazine Amateur Photographer arrived yesterday and had a bit more
on the Cosina/Epson RF... The "advance lever," as you know, cocks the
shutter. You get to set aperture and use the RF and (as noted earlier)
Leica M lenses will have a 1.5 mag factor so that a 50 mm will become a
75 mm, a 35 will be nearer a 50 mm etc.

The "rewind:" crank has been replaced by a jogwheel to do the menu
stuff... and best of all?

2000 POUNDS== make that near 4 G in US funds...

Next week (this is a weekly publication) they'll be reviewing the 5 MP
Digilux 2. That interests me a bit moire....
