Christmas Levee Bonfires along the Mississippi River

Annual Christmas tradition down here, brought over from Germany and France in
the 1800's. We build bonfires on the levees along HWY 44 and light them on
Christmas Eve. It gets really fun when there's allot of people standing around
with lots of tanks of fuel and bottles of Dixie beer. A few brought their FEMA
trailers.
