The Cathedral of Jesus the Light was recently completed after three
years and $190 million. Its curves spring out from the other secular
buildings along Lake Merritt. Its cross stands sentinel - Leica 35mm f/2

Inside the cathedral, Jesus' tall figure has the face of some of the
homeless men I've seen in the Bay Area, comforting to the affluent and
the out-of-work alike. He holds two fingers up to suggest the second
coming - Leica 21mm f/2.8 Elmarit-M ASPH:

Outside at night, the cathedral's lighting leads the eye to crosses,
curves, and textures - Canon EF24mm f/3.5L TS-E:

All comments welcome.
I'll be in northern New Mexico for the next week, so I won't be posting
for awhile.
Peaceful and enjoyable holidays to everyone!
