Begging youngsters get attention

It's been a busy weekend at the Chickadee Cafe. Most of my customers feed themselves - no, they make avian pigs of themselves in a feeding frenzy a great white shark would be proud of:

Watching the house finches, house sparrows, titmice and chickadees constantly changing the pecking order as they belly up to the bar - that's worth the price of birdseed.
