It looks like a purple finch to me-- and I have a ton of them at the
feeder. You DO know that there are a lot of variations in birds-- I
have yet to see one that looks exactly like the illustration inn the
bird guide for example.
I was impressed by optic and even more impressed by the fact that you
could hand hold it-- and the "noise" I am sure was from the scanner--
or from a tad of over-sharpening in PhotoShop if you did some
adjustments there.
