David, you're being too hard on yourself. While 1200dpi isn't ideal by any means, the finch is sharp and I like the shot. I'm impressed that it was shot with a doubler on a 400mm Telyt while HANDHELD! That's no easy trick for most people.

It's an excellent shot IMO.
