Not quite really! ;-) All it means is we have a new "M camera for our M lenses!" And best part? With no bother of souping film or carrying around 40-50 or more rolls of the stuff.

Nor the concerns some folks have about film going through airport carry-on scanners.Not only that but even though it's a new digital camera making life for photographer's easier, it actually feels like the M's I've carried lo these many years for half a century. A beauty to say the least.

I get my incipient cataracts looked at next month to see if they
have developed to the point of requiring the procedure. Dunno though
whether I'm ready for another surprise like yours. ;-)<<<

All the best with this situation as these days cataracts are a piece of cake for fixing.

Joke aside, Ted, it sounds great! Makes me glad that I didn't sell
my M6 and lenses. They may have been born again.<<<

Roger no question, with this digital M you'll become a "born again" Leica M photographer. :-)
