In 'in the creek', the 'noise' in the rocks looks to me like granitic 
texture and patterns. The worst digital noise in this image is the 
dark shadow under the overhanging rock in the center of the picture.

I just re-posted 'beach sunset' with extra chrominance noise 
reduction, and with the foreground a silhouetted black. The file size 
is large - almost 200KBytes - so it'll take awhile to display if you 
have dialup access only.

And I re-posted 'nice yellow' with more noise reduction at a bigger 
file size. Again, the file is over 250KB - so it'll take awhile to 
display if you have dialup access only.
