Adapt 80mm Summilux to Canon EOS camera body?

I know some of you use Leitz R-glass on Canon EOS cameras. Is there an
adaptor which retains the lens' auto-aperture, or is it stop-down mode only?
I'm wondering because I'd like a fast medium telephoto for one of my
cameras (Leica M8 or EOS 1D mk II/20D). A used 80mm Summilux-R is about
half the price of a used 75mm Summilux-M.
