Naw, what the heck yer close old buddy! ;-)
I find the more I play with the Digilux 2 and have now shot a couple of
serious shoots it isn't the "beast " some refer to it as. I think some of
their comments are made without actually using the camera for a period of
time and based more on the trial of in store "play time" instead of out on
their own in the quiet of the real world.
Then printing the results up to at least 13X19 and see what the results look
like. It's not the Leica M replacement.......... it isn't! So forget it!!
It's just a digi camera that functions extremely well attached to a fine
Leica 28-90 f 2.0 zoom lens. And I will say it cuts like a razor blade. :-)
Look forget any thoughts about it being a replacement for an M series
camera, it isn't and never will be.
If you put that aside and look at it as a digital camera with a leica logo
badge and Leica lens then take it and use it to shoot as you feel, then
there isn't any question you should have some very fine photographs to print
out!
I'm becoming a believer for the moment, having a wonderful and enjoyable
time shooting tons of things for next to no cost at all. And more damn fun
just playing at taking pictures since I started 55 years ago! :-)
