A nice thing about the K100d is that in addition to CRV3 batteries (that  
last for a Looong time,)   the camera can run on AA cells, I would  think that 
an 
advantage on the road.
 

  I have so much confidence in this camera, especially with the primes  I'm 
using, I'm having real questions that a  K10D would advance my  photography, 
much less an M8.
