Hi Graham:

Both photographs are excellent but the a 21mm lens due to your wonderful eye
for composition is on the mark. Many 21 users see only the "WOW" factor of a
narrow wide coverage horizontally without any thought of making use of the
top and foreground space covered.

I believe I've said before..... " the 21mm lens isn't the easiest lens in
the world to work with unless the photographer has a good eye for
composition, particularly as seen in this "country side situation."

In this case, the countryside vista as simple as it is, works beautifully
with the man on bench in foreground leading the viewer into the scene.

The other, a 50mm lens? It's the position of workman and wheel barrow that
starts the flow line left to right across the frame and out lower right side
corner. The "yellow painted roadside lines" in foreground leading the eye
around the sweep of the corner adds just a nice touch of extra fall colour.

As happens with any photographer, no matter whom! Nobody shoots 36 perfect
frames on every roll. That's life! But in your case when the photograph is
right on the money mark they are simplistically eye comfort to look at.

Well done mon ami, good on you for these two!
